I'm just pointing out his hypocrisy. When Nadal lost to Soderling, very few said he was a choker, mental midget. I don't think N_F did. If he did, then he can say Fed's a choker here. If not, he's a hypocrite.

each match is different, it is possible theoretically for federer to choke in this match and nadal not to choke in his.

but goodness me federer is playing well. people are lascerating his shot selection when it's a minor miracle that he's getting to some of del potro's hits, his movement has been wonderful. sometimes he's been caught in two minds about what to do, but defensively he's making miracle gets look normal. that's the balance of the man.

its amazing that in long battles....federer doesn't look too tired considered hes 27... compared with competitors that are like early 20's

If Fed comes back to win this,I will put "NamRanger is the King" in my signature, you have my word on it.

You don't need to do that; it was obvious Del Potro was going to come back down to earth, as there's no way a guy of his size can hit that hard for so long while moving that well. I saw Roddick try and do the same thing at the USO 2007 QF, trying to blast right through Federer on every serve and groundstroke. He just eventually got tired in the 3rd.

the game changed instantly when fed stopped returning that slow slice ball

Does nobody remember how that same return gave Del Potro trouble??? DP is just playing a lot better this time...his strategy that has beaten him everytime will win this time as well...just like when he played Nadal last, he had a strategy and stuck to it...its a winning formula, the only thing that matters is the result and we will see how that slice return works out...a W or an L

it's credit to his movement and regime, he's like a spider on silk. is that a good simile? i don't know, i'm high on this match.

del potro is going to have his "murray" off-season soon i'm sure, come back a beast. but it's not the same as what federer has.

LMAO... the turn around here was so quick. Just 5 minutes ago I was pacing in my room nervously asking WHY WHY WHY?

Now I'm calm. Fed just obliterated Delpo in the fourth.

Well that was certainly nothing less than a total collapse from DP. I hope he at least TRIES in the last set. But I fully expect Federer to win it.

I already gave my word so I'll do it anyway IF(it ain't over yet)Fed comes back to win this(I think you're a great poster regardless of this match).I kinda see you point(Del Potro was zoning there,it probably had to stop at some points)but it's hard for me to be rational when Fed is playing such a close match since I'm a fanboy.

What an awesome comeback from Federer! Del Potro has been playing so well but his serve percentage has started to drop.... I hope he is tired for this final set.
