I played with the new G360+ MP. Paint looks better in real life than pics, it's basically identical to VCORE red, but less metallic. It was strung with Head Experimental Tour 17 at 50lbs.
I have mixed feelings about this racquet.
The good:
Weight distribution. The balance and level of polarization is excellent. The racquet is stable, has reliable access to power and spin (especially for an 18x20), yet remains maneuverable enough for the modern game. The thin beam is nice, and I think offers more stability than other sticks with similar beam widths (eg VCore Pro 97). The string bed is very consistent thanks to the 18x20 pattern. Backhand slice was excellent.
The bad:
Stiff hoop, reminded me of the EZone 98 in this way. This racquet can feel jarring when hit in the upper third of the string bed. I hit the GT Prestige Pro alongside the G360+ MP and I think the GT offers a lot more comfort. It still feels solid though, the same way the Gravity feels solid. G360+ seems to offer a consistent feels across the line so far. I just wish it was more plush. Imo the VCORE 95 is still a better option.
Some notes:
I dont think Head Experimental is a very consistent string. I strung my racquet of choice (VC95) with it and compared it to my new go to setup, GrappleSnake Tour Sniper. I have previously used GS Neon Hybrid, Tourbite, Polytour Pro, and ALU Power in my racquet. Experimental is quite powerful, and the launch angle can get a little crazy. The feel is very, very crisp, but not uncomfortable, and it offers good ball pocketing. I can see why Thiem hybrided it with Hawk in the crosses.
Fyi the beam looks like normal box beam, but the throat is trapezoidal like the outgoing Speed racquets. It think this adds stability.
I also briefly his with the Prestige S 360+ and I really liked it, but it was a bit light. Very plush for a 68 RA unsprung racquet (I measured), great pocketing and very stable for its weight. Reminds me of the 2020 Strike, but more plush. Also it has cap grommets if you are wondering. I'm really interested in the 95sqin Prestige Pro and the Tour, but I doubt I'll switch from my VC95.
