Let's see how long this servebotting will work before Del Potro figures out Isner's serving. This tournament will be more exciting if Del Potro advances instead of Isner.

Delpo has a mental block against Isner. In 2013 Cinci he was MP up but double faulted and let Isner come back and win. Last year he was a win away from the WTF but he dumped a rubbish service game out of nowhere to hand Isner the victory.

He's put in a ton of work on that front.

Isner is getting some awesome serves in, but his first shot off the Del Potro return is the big difference. He is setting himself up so well. Also, he came to net at least 6 ot 7 times that I saw alone and either converted or drew an error.

Meanwhile, Del Potro isn't coming to net at all and staying back hoping for longer rallies. He probably needs to abandon that strategy in the next set.

Well Del Potro leads the winning head to head 7-4.They split meetings this year where Isner got him in Miami and he beat him in RG. I'm not sure I would say it's a mental block though.

Slower, higher bouncing courts actually help tall guys.
Fast, slick surfaces help the shorter guys whose serves and groundstrokes speed up and stay low.

Can we then also ban a black dude, and a woman, but not a black woman. Maybe we need to check that we're not discriminating against certain political or religious movements, but afaik no jews are getting banned so far so nobody will scream bloody murder
