On the basis of this match that’s bad news for him! LolDF and Bweh gets the break
Funnily enough, it would only spell certain doom for Rublev given the first two sets.
Not sure I get all this talk about the heat - usual conditions we play in every day down here.
Yeah I guess the heat wouldn't be a factor when Meddy double bagels your ass and you win ~2 points the entire time. Not sure I get all this talk about the heat - usual conditions we play in every day down here.
To be these conditions are so brutal. It’s incredible they can out there and play 5 sets at all. I couldn’t imagine how tough it must be. That will affect the level of tennis no doubt

Exactly right. You mentioned just the other day and now we seeing it now.I'm reminded of our forehand discussion watching Rublev blast forehands with very similar trajectories...
Can you imagine Rune in these conditionsI actually can’t blame Med for abusing the MTO’s this match, just breathing in those conditions is difficult. The roof has somehow actually worsened things. Heat is one thing but the humidity is much tougher to deal with.
Are you getting triggered by the global warming discussion? This Sky Sports commentary is embarrassingly bad. It isn't quite Castle bad, but it's not far off.
No one is as bad as Castle. This Sky Sports commentary is embarrassingly bad. It isn't quite Castle bad, but it's not far off.
No, I've been thinking this whenever I've had to watch any match with these idiots they've picked to commentate. Thankfully I spent most of the week watching matches either with US commentary or none at all.Are you getting triggered by the global warming discussion?
The ESPN commentary is often worse, depending on who you get.No, I've been thinking this whenever I've had to watch any match with these idiots they've picked to commentate. Thankfully I spent most of the week watching matches either with US commentary or none at all.
Didn't this humidty kill Fed a few years ago? A flaw in the roof structure?
I wonder what the rules are to talking an substance enhancing substance for MTOs?
An inhaler can help breathing. If a guy needs a substance to go on? Should the rules say you have to retire?
Even if Medvedev has asthma, how much aid are you allowed to utilize?
I'm on the fence and can go either way. Wonder what others think.
The damn mugs are not holding their damn serves.Another break for this clown.
He’d probably request an EKG/IV and vital signs from his personal doctor during every changeoverCan you imagine Rune in these conditions
He probably wouldn’t last the match to be fair. Yeah it would be brutal for him.Can you imagine Rune in these conditions

He has a case of verbal diarrhoea for sure! LolNo one is as bad as Castle.
Could Novak handle these conditions? I think he would pulled through.
Piers Morgan requesting an interview with Rublev’s fitness trainer sources are telling me.Jadon Sancho really needs to log off as much as me. Latest message says
''Don't believe everything you hear. I was not involved with Rublev's training. I don't even go to my own training, kid.''
AKA me.To be fair most normal people would collapse after a handful or rallies in these conditions with this intensity.
It's pretty insane.
Against a player who can really play and make him play too?
He'd be like Cincinnati or worse.
Not if he was playing Medvedev. If he was against someone who can't keep the ball in the court, like yesterday, he'd be fine (he struggled a lot early in that match himself). He's horrible in humidity, it's surely a key part of the reason for his comparatively subpar US Open and Cincinnati records. He struggled so bad in Tokyo at the Olympics for that same reason.Could Novak handle these conditions? I think he would pulled through.
AKA me.
Few times I've played outside in the heat this year have been baaad. 2nd set I'm cooked. I think I've still won most of those but it ain't easy to keep going with how some clay points can get.
Although one indoor match that I played at night went for like 3 hours. Gets pretty humid inside but I didn't feel my level drop in that one. Maybe was hydrated better that day but who knows.
