Some matches smell and you have to stay away. A good guess would have been this match would have been much like their recent Australia encounters, so 6-0, 6-2 a surprise, but expectation was probably something like 6-3, 6-3 based on head to head and form.
I think Goffin beat Nadal straight up for those first two sets and bodes well for future encounters with Rafa on hard courts. The rabbit Nadal pulled out of the hat to take the 2nd was special and pretty strong evidence that the knee was not all that bad. You could see some issues for Goffin's knee in 3rd set as well with Nadal.
