Shrimps on the Barbie...his apparel is from an Aussie manufacturer.Sandgren looks like someone’s dad who’s casually stopped by to play some tennis on his way to make the afternoon barbecue
If Fabio was just three or four inches taller he would have been top 5 a long time ago. So much talent!
Which channel are you guys on, they swapped to women
Horse or carriage though. The guy puts a lot of pressure on himself because he can’t blister a serve for an easy point when he needs it or extend a rally with that extra reach. His mentality is the problem and always would have been. With Djokovic, Federer, Murray and Nadal around, I could never imagine him as the 5th guy Lacks focus more than anything else
Was Fabio complaining about Sandgren constantly trying to find the service clock or something? Keeps on taking his time or something, I dunno....haha Take that.

In his case, that extra pressure manifests itself in his all too frequent meltdowns.
It’s a lot easier being that prototype tennis height, not 5’10”. You could be that short in the early Open Era and reach top 5 or even #1 (Laver, Connors). That’s not happening ever again with the bigger shots made easy with string and racquet technology.
This is not over yet. Fabio Houdini may just make an appearance. What a draw for Fred, playing tennys himself in QF, ombillibabelle.
Actually an inch taller. He’s the best of the sub-6 foot players in the poly era.Isn't Fognini same height as Ferrer?

I honestly have no idea. Was Fabio complaining about Sandgren constantly trying to find the service clock or something? Keeps on taking his time or something, I dunno....
Damn this draw Fed got is sent from heaven.
Three retirements/walkovers after 4R?Time to have his own USO 2016, after all.
Yes, same height. Was he using the cheating string, kinda in that transition era IIRC from Sampras to fedalovic. I tried poly once in my RD-Tour and cut it out the same day...absolutely killed the feel that racquet offered.Lleyton Hewitt was under 6'.
He was ranked #1, won Wimbledon, USO and runner up at the AO.
What on that list has the grub Dognini done?
More like someone else’s USO’17 draw, no?Time to have his own USO 2016, after all.
I am not a fan of the man but his tennis is great.I haven’t watched Fognini in so long. I forget how easily he can produce power and redirect. His ballstriking is so clean.
He is still the only player besides Federer who could beat Nadal after 0-2 sets. In that match Nadal had no answer to exactly this kind of game for too long. To be fair, it was 2015 Nadal, but still a great achievement. He also beat Nadal on clay 3 times.I haven’t watched Fognini in so long. I forget how easily he can produce power and redirect. His ballstriking is so clean.
If only he got Berrettini and Medvedev in the SF/F instead of Djokovic and Nadal.Damn this draw Fed got is sent from heaven.

The draw for the big 3 is pretty much meaningless until the QF.
Fred Perry was the biggest cheat by training away from the court to get extra fit; that’s when the rot set in.Now waiting for someone to reply that Sampras was using cheating frame compared to Laver/Pancho's wooden frame
Some (Novak fans) think that got too much rest before the SFBrad Gilbert just said Novak getting a walkover against Fognini at the 2011 FO QF cost him the calendar year slam. What???
Maybe to some extent but usually you face atleast a top 15-20 player.
It’s not a knock on poly. Everyone can choose to use it but it’s proven that the strings have changed the game dramatically in the last two decades. If that wasn’t fact, how could you have a small Belgian company like Luxilon go from making sewing thread in the 1950’s to reaching gold standard status in the string business and beating the Asian low-labor-cost synthetics that dominated the industry until the 90’s?Now waiting for someone to reply that Sampras was using cheating frame compared to Laver/Pancho's wooden frame
