Funny is Nadal fans saying for years that this tourny is a joke but also watching along and stressing out over Rafa not winning it.
It is indeed a joke. This year proves it. Nadal should never play it again. Even if he wins 3 matches in his group they will find a reason why he doesn't deserve to be in the semifinals.

Lol not at all. But if Nadal is playing we must support him. Not saying for all Nadal fans, but I don’t give a f about him not winning this "tournament" for a long time now.

In 2009 Djokovic won 2 RR matches and still failed to reach the semis. Something tells me you didn't feel too bad for him back then........
And I'm mentioning this fact every time when one tells me Djokovic was bad in the second half of 2009. He was the best player after USO and was very unlucky in WTF.

Now you're just reaching.

I already gave you an example how Novak Djokovic himself won 2 RR matches in 2009 and didn't qualify for the semis. Why? Because he was destroyed by Soderling.

So it happened to him too.

Yes, it was unfair. Just like him almost reaching the semifinals with 1 win in 2011. (his win was very close, and in one the matches he lost he was totally destroyed)

Med would have chances if he didn't lose serve in the first game of the match. Now he will lose the tie break. He won what, 5 points on return from the beginning of the match? Zverev is too good on serve.

This tournament is constantly criticized that you can win it despite losing a match.

Well, as it turns out, if you do lose a match, you complicate your situation, so I don't see why it is unfair that Nadal is in this situation.
