Probably in about 2 yrs. Possibly before, who know? One day he just won’t be able to hit passing shots on a full stretch. He’ll make more UE’s. Movement will lag. It 100% will happen. And I promise you when it does, you’ll find it super annoying if Fed & Rafa fans decide to troll every single Novak match thread.

They've been trolling every Joe match thread for as long as I can remember so it'll be the same.

You are entitled to feel whatever. When you put it out on a public forum, you are bound to get responses. If that makes me "annoying", so be it.

all i said was man is on my list, lol y'all act like i said much worse. and ofc you are free to respond you are right its out there in the public forum. and yeah i think the lot of you are annoying

People keep hyping these dudes up lol. Novak can smell it at this point.

Yea it’s funny. Novak would have to sprain his ankle or something to lose to any of these remaining players and then he still might win. I give Shapovalov a small chance if he’s absolutely on fire but other than that it’s another slam for Djokovic

But he did more. Way more. If you rewatch (which I don't recommend), you'll see he hit some blinders. It's okay to be upset, but why treat HH unfairly.

No doubt HH still had to play solid, but I think he played even better late stage of the match and came up with a few super shots, because his confidence grew. As I mentioned before, well done to him, but I wouldn't say he is ready to be a serious threat to the likes of Djokovic based on just what I saw today. I wish him luck, he may truly be in form and ready to win the whole thing, but he didn't have to be super special to beat today's Fed.

Honestly, rooting for a CYGS. I wanna see then how are these people gonna defend the Next Gen.

federer the guy who won in a weak era while djokovic nadal and murray kills each other in their primes for slams somehow will end up 3rd lol

Murray was good only for a short period (late 2012-early 2013, then 2016) and Nadal also was on and off. 2014-2018 was just as weak (if you want to call it that way) as any other 'weak' era in history of tennis.

But he doesn't need to be playing great to win. The last 2 slams proved it.
It's really kind of crazy how bad Novak has looked for extended patches in each of his last 4 slam victories, yet he still won. In this year's Australian it was in the earlier rounds with the abdominal tear, but in Wimbledon 2019, Australia 2020, and Roland Garros 2021, he looked genuinely awful for at least one set in each of those finals and had to win in five... but he did. Just so bizarre that there's not one person who can make him pay for those patches of poor play in slam finals.

I've calmed down now. Realized Fed didn't miss any opportunities LOL.
Yeah I'm not that disappointed honestly. Aside from the bagel which was pretty bad, these are the kinds of losses we should be getting used to from now on. For a lot of players, this stuff happens in their early 30's.

Djokovic has vultured the most in weak era - the weakest era of open era - 2015 to current. Nadal the 2nd most.
2004, 2005, 2007 were all pretty good years. Only 2006 was on the level of 2015(&2010). 2016-current has been worse than 2015.
your post is an utter joke.

Why stop at 2018? It hasn't stopped being weak.

I don't see the problem with jm1980 providing footage of possibly the most pivotal point in the match, even if he does have a history of ripping into Fed.

Good documentation.

I don't get the hostility, I even said Fed played a good point up to the shot

if federer was the same age, he would never ever of been even in the discussion of GOAT, he would be that 3rd guy. Federers greatest accomplishment is being born before djokovic and nadal

It’s still about mental strenght.
