I would like to see a 3 setter and a good match.My heart says bouchard in 3 sets but my head tells me kvitova in 2 sets

Everyone knows how Eugenie will play, but Kvitova is a toss-up. Kvitova's game is best-suited for grass, but her mental game can wander which is why I predict Eugenie will prevail.
Looking at Kvitova's anemic results since her last Wimbledon win, she is not a shoe-in to win the title as a former champion.
Kvitova thrives off of pace, which is why Eugenie needs to junk-ball periodically to throw Kvitova off her rhythm and implant doubt.
Kvitova has lost weight since her last Wimbledon win and that should be to her advantage.

IMHO Kvitova on grass > Bouchard on grass. That said I have been impressed by Bouchard this event.
If Bouchard can extend the rallies then Kvitova may get impatient and watch the UE count jump. If Bouchard can manage to play within her element then the pressure goes right to Kvitova.

Eugenie has made it to the semi's or better in all the GS events this year, all on different surfaces. Her game resonates well on all surfaces. Should she win Wimbledon, expect her endorsements and career to skyrocket. Tennis will have its next Chris Evert should she win. All eyes on Eugenie. She's the new "it" girl in tennis.
I'm sure Patrick McEnroe would die to get Eugenie to "defect" to the US. Anyone remember when Mary Pierce had to go Canada's way when the USTA stopped supporting her? That was a huge fail on the USTA's part.

However, she is winning me over with her consistent and aggressive play. That said, I'm rooting for Petra. Watching that Venus match made me remember why I jumped on her 2011 bandwagon. I really like her when she's on. I think she can prevent genie from executing her strategy of taking the ball inside the baseline. She seems to be playing with more confidence now, but I still picked 3 sets because that's been her m.o. the last year. 2 sets wouldn't surprise me. At this point nothing would surprise me!

Yeah, this will be a tough one for Genie. She's facing a bigger (and lefty) serve than she has so far. Needless to say, ability to return consistently well will be key for both, but especially Bouchard. That's the one aspect of this match that concerns me as someone who wants Genie to win.

I like Genie and cheer for her most of the times because of Canadian connection, but several times she did some quite disappointing things that made me wonder about her character:
- Crush on Bieber
- Flashing gang signs in the middle of Roman Colosseum
- Refusing to shake hands with her opponent during the Fed Cup pre game ceremony vs Slovakia, because it is "lame"

Stats for the first set were something like 17-5 winner/error from Kvitova. wow. When she's playing like that, she's unstoppable.
